Your eyes tell a tale,
Your eyes tell a tale,
Mind if I recite it to you?
It speaks of the wars you’ve faced,
Everything you’ve triumphed over.
Your eyes tell a story,
One I cannot get over.
You’re wise beyond your years,
Even the universe in your eyes testify to that.
When I stare at you,
I see a beautiful future,
And a love unreckoned.
So, pray tell beautiful one,
Are you even from earth?
I wonder what people see,
When they look at you.
For now I’ll tell you what I see,
Every single time I catch myself staring.
It’s the way you love,
Same with the way you care.
Like an Amazonian warrior,
You defend those you love.
Like a mother hen,
You gather people into your warm embrace.
One day the world will hear of you,
With your unrivaled compassion,
And your beauty that’s ageless,
Transcending time itself.
Amor,
You’re the definition of perfection packaged in a human body.
That is you,
My imperfect perfection.
