PANIC ATTACK

June Writing Challenge
Day VI of XXX: Mystery in Misery

Panic Attack

Fingers in a river of sweat,
Trembling at a fast pace.
Torn between two worlds;
Subtle pain to the chest.

Heart out in the cold,
In shivers of pain.
Behold! Inside out,
I share in its pain.

Brain in jeopardy,
Hazardous to my health.
Mentally insane;
I'm unstable at heart.

Feelings in despair,
In the hands of the night.
All hopes being lost;
I've given up on light.

Fingers, now numb;
Heart pounding hard.
I gave in to anxiety;
No more trying hard.

Vision became blurry;
My future, now bleak
Short breaths at intervals;
My death at its peak.
