So its been long have written poetry,
My mind and heart weren't pretty.
My words made oblivion their abode,
And my feelings are abroad,
Sitting right next to lonely New York.
I felt real pain not being able to express myself anymore.
My tears were much for my emotion to take,
So I gave the rest to the rain; no one would notice me crying.
Poetry wasn't the way for me; I thought.
But when I saw you;
When I saw you, I felt like the world was revolving again.
My heart started pumping words into my veins,
My feelings revived and my worn out tissues started to bridge together.
Emotions coming in,
Depression washing out.
Feelings, muse, smile became available.
Simile brought smile to me again.
Personification brought my dead emotions back to life.
Irony gave a different meaning to my world.
Hyperbole gave me a place higher than the sky.
Damn! figures of speech made my life special;
Better than it was before.
You're my muse.
You made my poems so special.
You made each lines and stanza a mind blowing hive.
You're are the secret I can't hide.
For you are my poetry.
I love you.
