While I slept, my heart was awake,
My lover knocked at the door,
"Come in' said I,
He throws a glance at me,
His eyes are as beautiful as a dove
'Your hair is beautiful upon your cheeks
And fall along your neck like jewels'
Said he as he touch
He curdles me in his arm
Like a rope tied round a log,
His cheeks are as lovely as a garden,
That is full of herbs and spice,
His lips covers mine with kisses,
Tastes like lilies, wet with liquid myrr,
Sweethens like milk and honey,
Out of my unconscious, wake I
Happy and sad.
