FOR NOW AND MEMORIES TO COME...

For a long time,

I believed that_

Where I was,

Was the highest I could go.

I wept in secret places,

Afraid to lift my head,

Far above the clouds.

But once upon a time,

I met a friend,

Once upon a hormone monster,

I found a friend,

Through heights and depths,

One constant he was,

Through tears and hurt,

A home he gave.

This is a poem,

For someone who changed my life,

This is for the Word God,

This is my thank you.
