When words fail and my pen stops,
When my ink runs dry,
Do I pen down my emotions with my blood,
And my words as tears?
Do my silent screams fill the pages of blank papers,
As I seek for words in the void?
When the words aren't enough,
Each paper a waste,
As I write and rewrite.
Do you hear my unwritten thoughts,
Do they cry out for help,
To you?
Can incoherent thoughts be penned down in legible mumble jumbo?
Can you read my heart when it's full,
Or when it has a message to be said?
When words fail me,
And my pen dances idly to no beat on my blank sheet,
Do you see the poem not yet written?
