DAY XIV: SUMMERS AUTUMN

Sunrise comes earlier;
Sunset comes later.
The sun at its hottest;
Night at its warmest.

Childrens on holiday;
Cycling all through the day.
Picnics out on beach;
Surfing and swimming at its peak.

The day became shorter;
And the night, longer.
Mornings became chillier;
While the nights grow colder.

The leaves began shedding;
And trees color, changing.
Time to host a bonfire;
While we have hot apple cider.

Cooler, dryer weather.
Chilly, autumn air.
Perfect time for camping;
We can even go hiking.

Skies turned grey; trees leafless.
Day and night at its coldest.
With summer and autumn gone,
Chills of winter on the horizon.
