She lives within me,
Inside my head.
She comes out quite often,
With one mission - To destroy.
An unruly parasite,
Who bears the key to my mind,
And I, the receiving host,
Who gets locked out of her own mind.
My alter ego,
Dangerous, insane, wild,
Fed by my sins,
Birthed by my insecurities,
And devouring all good in me.
Drying up all the seeds I planted and carefully nurtured in me.
But I can't take it anymore,
I have to stop her, control her.
Halt her calamitous tendencies,
Ruin her, like she ruins my life.
Break her, before it's too late.
I can't let her control me anymore,
I won't let her control me anymore,
Her reign of destruction is over.
Her ruinous heart, surprisingly fragile,
Has been demolished by me,
SHE. CAN'T. HURT. ME. ANYMORE.
