Sometimes I wonder what I did,

To deserve all the love you've shown.

I sometimes get lost for words,

It's hard to believe you're real.

I feel like I stumbled into a fantasy,

A beautiful fairytale.

Some days I wake you to check,

Check if you're real.

I go through our chats to be sure,

The Voice notes.

Then I ask myself,

What I did to deserve you.

I have issues,

Nobody needs to tell me that.

I get rash and don't think,

Sometimes I tell you to leave,

Even if I don't ever mean it.

But when the issues come,

You stay and talk to me,

Tell me everything is fine,

Even as the tears fall.

What did I do to deserve you?

It's shocking,

And I'm truly grateful.

How can I leave you,

When you are my light,

Light in this pitch black darkness.

You're my joy,

My definition of euphoria.

My happy pill,

My soul's desire.

Leaving you is like choosing hell,

When paradise is available.

It's not even a choice.

You're my breath of fresh air,

A special brand of salvation.

So, hold on,

Don't let go.

In the good times,

In the bad times,

At all times,

Stay with me.

Because that which I feel for you,

Is beyond the words I write.
