A Tale of Two Souls

This is the tale of two souls,
This tale has no end.

She was a fragile , broken thing
Seeking refuge from her demons,
Looking for a home,
A fireplace to warm her soul.

He was a broken thing
Cast forth out of love's realm.
A heart once shattered
That strove to heal.
His demons he dined with,
On a table for three.

On a Midsummer night,
She knocked on his door,
All weary and tired,
She begged for shelter.
He took her in without a word,
Wrapped his arms around her,
And told her she was home.

Like a storm in the sea
She rode her demons,
Because he, her home
Had given her wings to fly.

With her patient hands,
And her warm heart,
She patiently glued together,
The million broken pieces of him.
And showed him how to love,
As it should have been.

And so,
These two lost souls,
Found in each other;
She in him, a will to live
He in her , the courage to love.

But this tale alas! Has no end,
For when she had healed him,
He found love in another,
For the other had an appeal,
Her frag
