PHASES AND FACES

You're in that phase

Where you wear many faces.

In the same place

But you've been in several spaces.

In your head, it's a different dimension

And when reality don't meet up,

You're back in that alternate dimension.

Your head is heavy for all that you bear,

You're losing your identity due to the many faces you wear.

Today is bleak and there's no promise tomorrow would be clear You're in that phase where you're not here but neither are you there.

You're just existing,

Living life without living.

Giving to others what they deem pleasing Whether or not to you, it's actually rewarding.

You're not living, just breathing.

Smiling is your defense mechanism to stop people from looking within.

Inside you're hurting, Inside you're crying,

Inside you're screaming. Inside you're waiting, Inside you're drifting.

You're in that phase where you wear many faces

Because the true face you ought to wear

Is not the face people want to see when they come near.
